Shadow work falls after month one and must be completed before graduation. The shadow weeks will be scheduled between the mentor, candidate, learning curriculum administrator and a TBM consultant. When candidates inquire about TBM Lean Certification, the program director will conduct a phone interview to assess the individual's learning needs. At the discretion of the program director, students have the opportunity to shadow a TBM consultant for up to two weeks to help strengthen skills most relevant for the individual. This is a customized program element and is included in the program fee.
Lean Sign-Off and Certification. Candidates will take a final exam and present their own value chain map project and results. TBM awards a Lean Certification upon graduation.
