Brian Cromer is Managing Director of TBM’s Global Supply Chain practice where he helps clients to make operational improvements, reduce working capital and improve service levels while lowering the overall cost to serve.

Brian has 20 years of experience in consulting and industry with comprehensive knowledge of general management, supply chain management, lean business systems, and cost accounting. 

One of his key areas of focus is to help our operations and supply chain clients to navigate the emerging technology landscape by working with them to leverage enabling technologies to improve operational performance and profitability.

Earlier in his career, Brian held progressively-responsible roles at Jacobs Chuck Manufacturing, a division of Danaher Corporation, where he progressed from cost analyst to senior accountant and later to roles as business unit manager and Danaher Business System manager.  At Jacobs Chuck, Brian oversaw all management operations with respect to quality, delivery, productivity, safety, profit and loss, and training of personnel.

Brian has cross-disciplinary experience in accounting, business management, operations management, and supply chain process improvement.  He has experience driving strategy deployment, conducting operational diagnostics, optimizing inventory, improving quality, managing a P&L, aligning performance improvements to financial metrics and implementing lead-based management systems.

Brian’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University. He is currently working to complete his MBA, also at Clemson University.  He is a Danaher Business System expert, received lean training from Shingijutsu, and has a Six Sigma Black Belt.
