Getting Started

Our Approach

We help clients build and implement Lean Value Chains through a combination of projects and week-long Kaizen Breakthrough events designed to create alignment and visibility for all value-adding resources in the enterprise.

Each Lean Value Chain assignment begins with total enterprise Lean transformation plan. We launch the program with a focus on rapidly creating sustainable and measurable improvements. Plans are customized to meet a client's specific value chain needs.

Typical Roadmap

TBM helps you create a broad base of awareness for your lean initiative. We work with you to develop lean leaders who can perpetuate and drive a lean culture to drive the organization and deliver results. Our goal is to transfer knowledge so you can do it yourself.

The typical lean value chain roadmap includes hands-on project work, mentoring. We engage the entire organization starting with awareness training, corporate readiness, program management, promotion office training and management / supervisor training.

A typical roadmap looks something like this:

TBM works with clients to identify and prioritize these and other weak links in their value chains.

  • Mapping the value stream to illustrate the flow of materials and information
  • Observing how the existing process operates to identify potential opportunities and performing a cost/benefit analysis for each
  • Collaborating with you to identify goals, objectives and plans that will rapidly generate significant improvements in the targeted areas.
